Space212 is much more than one of our first Hot Spot destinations. Billed as the ‘home for creatives’, Space212 is an inspired space for creators in the University City area of Charlotte NC. A place that provides a platform and  along with giving the creators an avenue to grow their customer base.

A hub for creativity, Space212 has connected with the community in a number of ways. On top of being a commerce space for artists (including making the space available for pop-up shops) they also host weekly programming that includes yoga, meditation, artist talks, and open mics. All of this geared towards giving the community a platform to express themselves. 

By having avenues for working artists to support themselves while also helping others become more comfortable in their expression, Space212 provides Charlotte with a vital service. So often, gallery spaces focus on the working artists while community centers focus on building confidence in new creators. Connecting these two spheres does wonders for a city’s creative scene. Any artist who is to the point of having work for sale, accepting commissions, in any way generating revenue off of their work; know exactly how those new creators feel. Building a support system for each other only serves to inspire more art. And the more art, the better, right?

Space212 recognizes that something does not need to be tactile to be considered art. This plus their dedication to expression, lead them to partner with us as a Hot Spot. With their Blockframe NFT displays, they will be able to highlight digital artists as prominently as they host artists working in other mediums.
